About Us

The Australian Microbeam Analysis Society (AMAS) is a special interest group of the Australian Microscopy and Microanalysis Society (AMMS).

AMAS is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and advancement of the knowledge of the science and practice of all microanalysis techniques useful for investigating the ultrastructure and function of materials in diverse areas of biological, materials, medical and physical sciences.

Members of AMAS meet nationally at the biennial AMAS Symposium and on alternate years at the biennial conference of AMMS.
