STUDENT BURSARIES FOR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL

To encourage student members to present their work overseas, AMMS will provide travel bursaries up to the value of $2000. These awards can only be used for travel to an international conference held overseas. To be eligible the student must be presenting an oral paper or poster. Whilst preference may be given to students planning to present at a microscopy or microanalysis conference, applications from students presenting at other conferences in their field will also be considered. The work to be presented at the conference must contain a substantial amount of new or innovative research in microscopy or microanalysis.

How to Apply

Applications must be sent to the secretary by Friday 2^nd of May 2008. Travel to conferences to be held in the following 12 months will be considered at this time. Note that it is a condition of application that students must have been financial student members of the society for at least one year.
