INAUGURAL AMMS SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE EVENT "Careers in microscopy - what you need to know but no one ever tells you"
Date: Networking afternoon: Wednesday 13th February 2008, 2:15pm Ð 4:00pm at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Outline: A social networking event to encourage interaction between young scientists of the society. This will be an informal, relaxed event with high profile guest speakers including Professor David Cockayne and Dr Gerald Roach, talking about careers, challenges, anecdotes, experiences, and mentoring and research opportunities. Who: This event is targeted at ECRÕs, research fellows, students, technicians and new members looking to interact and have a laugh with other microscopists. Cost: Free to current members. $20 for non-members or Ôbecome a memberÕ and attend for free! FREE FOOD & DRINKS PROVIDED.
