Short Courses

The ACMM and IUMAS have a long history of conducting comprehensive workshops and short courses and we will be no exception.

The Centre for Microscopy and Microanalysis (CMM) at the University of Western Australia is considering co-ordinating its regular basic short courses, or a relevant subset, to be available. These include:

The Short Courses will:

  • cover basic components, operation, signal collection and sample preparation in these core microscopies
  • include small group live demonstrations, interactive theory and tutorial presentations and bench-top practical exercises
  • be supported by material on CD and these will be distributed prior to the Short Course.

A certificate of completion will be presented to all registrants that exhibit an appropriate level of involvement.
